I’m a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant, and I’m here to help your family get the rest you need.
I support families in improving their little one’s sleep with gentle, responsive strategies tailored to their unique needs. Whether you need a simple schedule tweak or ongoing, hands-on support, I’ll work with you to create a plan that feels right for your family.
I can help with:
Frequent night wakings
Early morning wake-ups before 6 AM
Late or unpredictable bedtimes
Nap struggles and short naps
Gently transitioning away from feeding to sleep
Moving from co-sleeping to independent sleep (if and when you’re ready)
Shifting away from sleep associations like rocking or cuddling to sleep
Creating a smooth transition to their own sleep space
Helping toddlers and older children stay in bed at night
You don’t have to choose between better sleep and being there for your child when they need you—you can have both. I’m here to help you navigate sleep in a way that respects your child’s needs while ensuring your whole family gets the rest you deserve. Let’s create a sleep plan that works for you, with gentle, responsive support every step of the way.

Hi, I’m Lorraine Bright
For over a decade, I have worked closely with children and families in a number of preschool and home settings. In recent years, I have focused exclusively on my role as a Postpartum Doula and have now become a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant. With a background in early childhood development, I’ve always been passionate about understanding the unique needs of babies and helping parents navigate the early stages of their child’s life with confidence and care.
After working with countless families, I quickly realized how personal and unique every child’s sleep journey truly is. Typical sleep training methods just felt too rigid, too much of a disconnect. I felt frustrated that many sleep resources overlooked the importance of a child’s individual temperament. Every baby is different, and not every approach works for every child. And so, I became even more passionate about helping families discover solutions that fit their child’s temperament and emotional needs.
That’s why I decided to dedicate my career to providing responsive sleep strategies that take into account each child’s unique needs. I love working with families to develop personalized sleep plans that are built around trust, emotional connection, and flexibility—ensuring that both parents and babies feel supported, confident, and cared for every step of the way.
I am here to help families find peace, reclaim rest, and embrace parenthood without the stress of rigid sleep training methods. It’s my goal to guide you through gentle, practical solutions that fit your family’s needs, respecting your baby’s temperament while creating healthy sleep habits for the whole family.

My Approach
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by baby sleep, you’re not alone. I know how exhausting it can be when nothing seems to be working—and I also know that the typical sleep training advice out there doesn’t always take your baby’s unique temperament into account. That’s why I take a responsive, baby-led approach that helps families find realistic, gentle sleep solutions without forcing one-size-fits-all methods.
What Does Responsive Sleep Support Mean?
It means working with your baby’s natural rhythms, not against them. Instead of trying to “train” sleep, we focus on understanding your baby’s cues, adjusting their sleep environment, and making small changes that feel right for your family. You won’t find rigid schedules or quick-fix promises here—just practical, developmentally appropriate strategies that set you up for long-term success.
What You Won’t Find Here:
No cry-it-out or timed check-ins – I won’t ask you to leave your baby to cry alone. Ever.
No pressure to “fix” sleep – Babies aren’t robots, and sleep is never perfect (even for adults!).
No judgment – Every baby and family is different. I’m here to help, not tell you what you should be doing.
What You Will Find:
A sleep plan that fits your baby’s temperament – Because what works for one baby might not work for another.
Support for ALL sleep struggles – Night wakings, short naps, regressions—I’ve got you.
Realistic, doable changes – No magic tricks, just small steps that actually help.
4 Months to 6 years
It’s easy to think of sleep struggles as something that only happens in the newborn stage, but the truth is, sleep changes as your child grows—and challenges can show up at any age. Whether you have a toddler resisting bedtime, a preschooler suddenly waking up at night, or a six-year-old who just won’t stay in their bed, sleep disruptions are completely normal. And just like with babies, there’s no one-size-fits-all solution.
As babies grow into toddlers, big emotions, newfound independence, and nap transitions can make sleep tricky. Preschoolers often develop bedtime fears, separation anxiety, and the classic “just one more book” stall tactics, while early school-age kids may struggle with routine changes, night waking, and growing independence. Every stage brings something new, and sleep needs to adapt along the way.
I work with parents of toddlers through early childhood (up to age six) to navigate these changing sleep phases with a responsive, supportive approach. Whether it’s creating a bedtime routine that actually works, easing the transition to a big-kid bed, helping with night wakings, or figuring out how to set loving but firm sleep boundaries, I’ll help you find realistic strategies that fit your child’s temperament and your family’s needs—without power struggles or rigid sleep rules.
No matter your child’s age, sleep doesn’t have to be a constant battle. If you’re feeling exhausted, frustrated, or just unsure of what’s next, I’m here to help. Let’s work together to bring sleep back to your home—at any age.
